It seems the press in our country has been having a pretty good time slamming Christian organizations lately. I’ve been reading and seeing more and more “journalism” blaming pro-Christian groups for hate crimes against abortionists, homosexuals, and anyone who we “disagree” with. I’m sure many of you have seen or heard similar depictions. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again–it won’t be long before we will be persecuted for our faith in Christ. Here’s what our response should be:
“‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” Romans 13:9b-10
As far as I can tell, the pro-Christian groups who are taking all the abuse in the media are trying to serve others in love. Is that not what Christ did and commanded us to do?
