Have you ever heard young children set conditions on what it takes to be their friend. Usually they’ll say something like, “I’ll be your friend if you…” or, “I won’t be your friend if you…” Thanks be to God that His salvation plan through Jesus doesn’t carry any conditions. We’d still be His enemies if we had to live up to almost any conditions. “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business.
