A Passion For Life!

Do you have a passion for life?  Are you giving life everything you have, and enjoying it.. OR… are you just making it day-by-day, groaning all the way?  In my experience, it seems to be one way or the other with people.  Either they’re fired-up about life, or they’re just treading water.  Often, those just trying to make it through the day can eventually become despondent, or even suicidal.  It also doesn’t seem to matter if a person claims to be a Christian or not.  I know many who claim to know the Lord who are anything but on-fire for life!  The answer, I believe, is in whether or not a person has found a desire and a way to serve his fellow man.  Crazy as it sounds, if you’re just living your life for YOU, then you won’t be happy with it–Your life won’t amount to much and you’ll know it!  It’s only those people who’ve discovered their God-given gifts and talents and are using them for others who are somehow free to enjoy life.  Can you really say you’re excited about life right now?  How much different would things be if you honestly could say you felt like you were making a difference in someone else’s life?
