God’s Word has a lot to say about the work of the Holy Spirit. There’s hardly a chapter in the Old Testament that doesn’t say something about the Spirit working in the lives of the Israelites — the New Testament is also filled with incredible accounts, usually in the lives of specific individuals or in the church. With so much evidence available to us, I wonder why many of today’s Christians deny the work of the Spirit; squelching it with disbelief and defiance. My guess is our old adversary is as busy as ever! If even a few of us started listening to the Holy Spirit, there’s no telling how much damage we’d do to his empire.
