Are You Sick?

I’ve come to the realization over the last few years that a lot of people who believe they’re OK with God, who confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, simply choose not to go to church. I guess the question isn’t whether or not people have a seemingly good reason for not attending church, but rather whether or not those reasons are valid, truthful, or point to a larger problem. This may be an oversimplification, and it certainly doesn’t apply to folks who miss church occasionally for family commitments, etc., but I believe there are two reasons people choose not to attend a place of worship: 1. They are physically sick 2. They are spiritually sick “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25 In Christ,
