Corrupt Talk?

“Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.” Proverbs 5:24

This is my number one struggle — keeping my mouth closed when it should be.  Sometimes the urge to tell that questionable joke or to respond to a rumor can be very strong.  Why can’t we remember we’re inhabited by the Holy Spirit?  Why do we continue to drag His precious name through the mud with our words and actions.  If you struggle here too, join with me in a renewed effort to “keep corrupt talk far from your lips.”
