In the strictest sense of the word, Satan’s works against mankind have been excellent. He not only convinced us to go against our Creator and thereby forfeit the sinless lives we were created with, but he continues to ravage us day by day with his insidious and endless temptations. And far too many Christians continue to play the game, allowing him to tease and tempt them, playing with their “pet sins” in hopeful denial that those very sins won’t grow up and devour them. Yes, Satan has done excellent work. In his effort to get back at the God whose justice sentenced him to hell, he’s used us as pawns, and we’ve played right along. Thanks be to God Almighty that the work of His Son was even greater! Thanks be to God that He’s saved us from our own evil desires. Thanks be to God that we once again have a hope of the sinless eternities we were cheated out of. Thanks to Jesus that His work was also quite excellent!
“Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he [Jesus] is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to DESTROY THE DEVIL’S WORK.
