I’m Busy!

I’m often guilty of doing things for God. Could that be possible you ask? Sure it could, if you understand it’s God that should be aligning my steps, and not me! The problem with me “doing things for God” is I’m often the one who decided what to do and how to do it. Typical of the average, Type A minister I’m sure, but sinful just the same. Are you guilty, too? What we should instead be doing is watching to see where God is working. After we take note of His actions, then we join in on what HE wants done! If it was a good enough plan for Jesus, it should be good enough for us!

“I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.”  Jesus of Nazareth (John 5:19b)
