How’s your relationship with the Lord these days? Are you spending any time in prayer, or is that getting crowded out by life? What about the scriptures? Have you had any time for them? Have you been out in the elements by yourself long enough? Is today the day you need to make a new covenant with your Lord? He’d love to spend the next few moments with you–can you spare a minute for the God of the Universe?
“‘Even now,’ declares the Lord, ‘return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.’ Render your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. Who knows? He may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing…'” Joel 2:12-14a
