I don’t think most people believe in hell. There are even plenty of so-called Christian denominations who don’t believe there is a hell, some of them quite vocal about it. The fact of the matter is, I don’t believe any of us want to believe there is a place of eternal torment for the wicked. Many people I’ve talked to even laugh at the mention of such a place. “Surely a loving God wouldn’t even consider such a thing.” The fact also remains there IS such a place… and far too many of us will find out soon enough that God’s Word is true. From my observations, Satan is doing a bang-up job in the “Hey, I don’t really exist” campaign. Maybe that’s why Jesus clearly spoke of a raging hell twice as often as he spoke of heaven. Since Jesus isn’t in the business of telling people, “I told you so,” clearly He was trying to warn us! In my own words, I’ll echo His warning… Danger: All who choose to deny God by following the desires of the flesh. You WILL spend an eternity with the one you chose to follow. “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. The Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who wash their robes [are born again], that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches.
