Mediator?

When I was a young teen I borrowed my mother’s car one day, only to wreck it minutes later.  The accident wasn’t my fault, but her car was just as totaled no matter whose fault it was.  When the police showed up, I asked the officer to do me a favor.  I begged him to come to my house with me and tell my mom that the wreck was the fault of the other person.  No doubt seeing the fear in my face, he agreed to take me home.  He even went to the door and talked to my mom while I waited in his car.  Man, was I glad he was there to mediate. As a sinner, I’m even happier to have a mediator with the only thing I know that’s more scary than my mom–Almighty God!  Facing Him with any mediator other than Christ would be eternally stupid! “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men–the testimony given in its proper time.”  1 Timothy 2:5-6 In Christ, PastorJimKilby @Kilbin8er Jim@JamesKilby.com
