Politically Correct?

It seems many Christian denominations don’t want to be burdened with many of the more “narrow” requirements of God’s Word these days. I’ve heard the hollow theological mumbo-jumbo justifying their deviations — mostly things like, “That stuff was written 2000 years ago! It doesn’t apply in today’s environment.” Regardless of the excuse, they seem to be slowly and methodically stripping pieces of the Word away, seemingly making it more “politically correct.” Gay pastors and “pro-choice” platforms are just the latest wave. I’m sure there’s much worse to come before Christ’s return… I only pray I’m not here to see it!

“Even after this, Jeroboam did not change his evil ways, but once more appointed priests for the high places from all sorts of people. Anyone who wanted to become a priest he consecrated for the high places. This was the sin of the house of Jeroboam that led to its downfall and to its destruction from the face of the earth.” 1 Kings 13:27

In Christ,
