I’m always saddened when I hear of unmarried Christians who are involved sexually. Still, today it almost seems like an epidemic among many young folks I talk with. Just like in Corinth so many years ago, they somehow think the sinful desires of the flesh can be filled without causing damage to their walks with Christ… “After all Jim, we’re gonna get married as soon as she gets out of school.” If you’re caught in sexual sin, Brothers and Sisters, there’s no time like today to come home. No matter how far you’ve run, lay it down and come home… Jesus is waiting. “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 Heavenly Father, take Your Word where You may. Take it to your children who are caught in the vicious circle of sexual sin. Help them see the error of their way, Lord. Forgive their sins, Lord, as they repent and cry out for forgiveness. Bring them home, Father, bring them home! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
