Substandard?

How’s your brand of Christianity doing lately? Have you been working with the Spirit our Lord gave you, or are you working against Him? If there’s one thing that bothers me about the Body of Christ, it’s the large percentage of folks who call themselves Christian, but seem to be more interested in “talking the talk” than they are in “walking the walk.” There’s not a whole lot I can do about the rest of the Body of Christ. But for me, I refuse to live life as a substandard Christian. Each day is a new day to find a way to be faithful with the work He’s given me to do. I don’t know about you, but I refuse to hang my head in shame when I meet my Lord. I want it to be a glorious reunion, and I know He wants the same thing!

“But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.” 1 Samuel 12:24
