Tick-Tock!

A conscience is kind of like an alarm clock. When it’s brand new, it will probably get your attention on the first ring. Later, however, the snooze button probably starts to get a lot of action, if the alarm is heard at all. Similarly, a conscience that is put on “snooze” too often becomes almost unrecognizable to the owner. Once you commit the same sin over and over, you tend to lose that God-given guilty feeling you should be having. For a new Christian who has been living in sin for a while, one of the first things they’ll need is some conscience repair Fortunately, God has that down pat!

“How much more then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” Hebrews 9:14

In Christ,
