Tough Days?

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Jesus of Nazareth (John 16:33)

You don’t have to live too long in this world to run up on a tough day. Sometimes it’s surely the devil bringing the world down around us, and believe it or not, sometimes it’s God. From time-to-time, that’s the way He chooses to get us off our hind-parts and into action. No matter who it is that’s bringing on the trouble, our response should be the same. Get on your knees, give it go God, and get busy!

… and the very next verse…

“After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:  “Father, the time has come.  Glorify your son, that your Son may glorify you.”  John 17:1
