Is it just me, or do people seem to be reinventing God these days? I constantly hear people telling me what “their God” would and wouldn’t do — or what “their God” does and doesn’t want. The scary thing is that much of what I hear is based on conjecture — not on any real knowledge of the Bible. Are you trying to please God based upon what you think He wants, or based on a knowledge of what says He wants in His Word?
