Walkin’ The Line?

“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in mye, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26
Sometimes I get some serious stress, even times of sleeplessness and depression. Sure, life is tough… having lots of kids, and a ministry, and marriage are all tough. But as I sit back and analyze the times when I have the highest level of uncomfortablility with my life, it’s always because I’m walking too close to the “integrity line.” That’s the line I’ll call the “line of truth.” Whenever a Christian finds a ways to justify actions the Lord would be uncomfortable with, the Holy Spirit immediately goes to work, making us uncomfortable–so uncomfortable we hopefully move back into the area where our integrity, and our testimony remain solid.
“May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you.” Psalm 25:21
