Wisdom?

Things aren’t always what they appear. We’ve all had friends that turned out to be working against us. I’ve learned and practiced things in life only to find out later they were a waste of time. For years I listened to the logic of this world; attended a secular college, and focused all my energy on pleasing myself. Although there are things the world can teach us, anything that will truly lead a person to a joyful life (in this world, and in the next), comes only from the Holy Spirit. Thanks be to God for His mercy and His love!

“We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rules of this age, who are coming to nothing.  No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.” 

1 Corinthians 2:6-7
