I heard a story the other day about a young man who was invited to a church by a high school acquaintance of his. Only seconds after he entered the building, an elderly gentleman grabbed the young man and said, “Take off that hat boy! This is the Lord’s house.” Caught in a state of shock, and quite angry, the boy immediately turned around and left the building, running into the pastor on his way through the parking lot. The pastor, seeing the boy was upset, asked him what was the matter. After telling the pastor what happened the boy added, “If this hat can keep me out of heaven, then I don’t want anything to do with it!”
I’ve heard it said that we may be the only Bible some folks ever read… Let’s be concerned with catching them with our love, He’ll clean them with His Spirit!
“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” Romans 15:7
