Fear vs. Faith. Every action, every thought, every moment of your life is controlled by either faith or fear. Think of yourself, your spiritual center if you will, as a pivot point. As you turn toward faith, you have the opposite effect on fear as your back turns toward it. Turning toward fear turns your back on faith. Turning away from one automatically turns you toward the other. If your walk with Christ is anything like mine, you never stop pivoting back and forth to some degree. As we strive to grow more like Christ and reflect His love, however, operating in faith can slowly but surely become our natural reaction–fear is always behind us.
“By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.” Hebrews 11:27
