A friend of mine just got a really nice inheritance from a wealthy family member. No doubt he’ll be buying all kinds of cool stuff real soon, and if I know him well, he’ll also be giving money to the poor and no doubt the church as well. I’ve never gotten an inheritance like that, most likely since I don’t have any rich relatives! Still, I think I’ll be just fine with the one I’m receiving from Jesus.
