It seems the world today is looking for a new type of religion. One that doesn’t restrict them from doing what they want, but still makes them feel good about themselves. I’ve even met good intending pastors that have fallen into the trap–watering down the gospel of Jesus Christ until it’s just plain unintelligible. The newspapers and shelves full of books are all stocked with “New Age” ideas–which are really just ancient witchcraft and sorcery revisited with new twists. Have we forgotten that Satan has absolutely NO new material. He just continues to bring up the same old lies. If you’re in search of a new type of religion, may I suggest that you cease your search for ANY kind of “religion,” opting instead for a personal relationship with the living Christ.
“This is what the Lord says: ‘Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.'” Jeremiah 6:16
